Quality Hydraulic Components Make Economic Sense
In
today’s economic climate, companies and plants are streamlining operations and
putting measures in place to reduce costs and maintain or increase
profitability. One of these cost saving exercises is using less expensive
equipment to save in the short term. However, according to Ulf Hassdenteufel,
Engineering Director at Hytec, the consequences of using these products are
usually far reaching.
“These inferior products may resemble better known brands but there are always
inherent design differences that do have an impact on how the product performs,
as well as on subsequent items in the process. The use of these products
invariably leads to breakdowns on the line and downtime.
“Manufacturers, such as Bosch Rexroth, have spent decades perfecting their
equipment and have extensive knowledge regarding their specifications,
capabilities and suitability in specific applications,” says Hassdenteufel.
Bosch Rexroth, distributed by Hytec in sub-Saharan Africa, guarantees the
consistency of material used in its equipment, with the entire range
manufactured according to stringent quality controls and with fine attention to
detail.
“We have the full capabilities to ensure that the products are supported,
warranties are honoured, and complete repairs to original specifications can be
carried out. This ensures that customers experience a minimum of downtime
because of Hytec’s ability to either repair the item or to replace it.
“Having a transparent and well established relationship with a leading
manufacturer, such as Bosch Rexroth, ensures that we have that same confidence
in our product range which we pass on to our customers and end users,” concludes
Hassdenteufel.
Hytec is also a Bosch Rexroth accredited Service Centre of Competence for
Africa, the only company outside of the Bosch Rexroth group to achieve this
status.
